November 9 – Nature Joins in the Praise – Psalm 98
The psalmist is calling for us to join nature in praising the Lord. The psalmist give several reasons to sing God’s praises. His right hand and holy arm mentioned in verse one is referring to God’s immeasurable power. God’s righteousness and judgment is mentioned in this chapter. God’s mercy, truth, and salvation are mentioned in verse 3. These are why the sear is roaring, and the floods are clapping. The psalmist is calling for everyone to make a joyful noise unto the Lord. It would be sad if God’s entire creation was singing His praises, except for us. Man is God’s most prized creation, and we should be praising the loudest. Let’s praise God today!
