Exodus 20 is where we find the ten commandments. The perfect law of God. The first four commandments deal with our relationship with God himself.
- Thou shalt have no other Gods before Me.I
- Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image.
- Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.
- Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy.
The remaining six commandments have to do with our relationship with other people.
- Honor thy father and thy mother.
- Thou shalt not kill.
- Thou shalt not commit adultery.
- Thou shalt not steal.
- Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.X. Thou shalt not covet.
I love how Moses’ relationship with God just continues to grow. While the rest of the Israelite stand far off and quake with fear, Moses walks towards God.
Great way to split these up to make them more understandable. God must think very highly of the relationship we have with Him and with the people God place around us. Thanks Roger!
God gave Moses these commandments so long ago and we still have them now! And they still are important to follow and use in are daily lives so we can grow closer to God just like Moses.
Whatever we do wrong we will get a consequence. Exodus 21 Tuesday
We can choose are actions but we cant shoose our consequences.
Exodus 21, Tuesday
Today was about more laws, didn’t really know what to write about but, verse 16 tells us not to steal people. Also really appreciate Bro. Roger doing our devotions for us.
Also ,there are a bunch of different websites, but the one I looked at, it said that shark fin soup was banned in China in 2012.
I don’t know why but I found that really interesting.
