Insight:
Moses must have had some sort of speech impediment or stutter that caused him to question the task that God had given him. Although God created Moses and his mouth and chose him for this important job, this reality didn’t make up for Moses’ insecurities about his ability to do the job to God’s standard.

When we’re saved, we have the Holy Spirit that dwells inside of us and can work through us, He can even give us the words to say in trying situations. Moses was relying too heavily on his imperfect flesh to complete a job that in our current dispensation, should be led by the Holy Spirit.

Question:
Do you allow the Holy Spirit to guide you whether in conversation with others, or doing something for somebody else, or do you tend to make up excuses? Parents train children, employees train workers, even dog trainers train dogs. How can we be trained or train ourselves to be obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit?
