October 28 – Summary of His Mission – Ephesians 3
Paul speaks again of his main calling of reaching the Gentiles. God called the greatest missionary of all time to reach the Gentiles, not the Jews. God’s salvation is for every person. This chapter expresses Paul’s desire to see the Gentiles come to Christ, not only for salvation, but to live on this earth in the strength that Christ provides. We can sense that Paul believes he is performing the highest calling for his life, and he is doing it passionately. Included in his passion are prayer, goals, sacrifice, and much work. Are you on a mission? God has a specific mission for each of us. Are you doing what God has called you to do? Are you doing it passionately or passively?
