November 14 – The End of History – Revelation 22
In verse thirteen, Jesus says, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” The history of this earth began with God, and it will end with God. In verses eighteen and nineteen, God expresses the importance of not adding anything to His Word, taking anything away from His Word. Understand, many biblical scholars that may or may not have had good intentions will stand before God, and be judged because they changed the Word of God when they created a different version of the Bible. We should be extremely careful when we claim the Bible says something. We never want to misinterpret scripture and assert the interpretation is truth. Verse twenty is one of the most exciting verses for the Christian. As Christians we are looking forward to the return of Jesus Christ. What a Day That Will Be!!
